Sony Mobile Communications of Japanese electronics major Sony Corporation on Thursday unveiled a spread of good phones for the upward mobile with distinctive options to access a plethora of services anywhere and anytime.
"Our new devices are a proof of the brand's commitment to Indian users,particularly youth, young professionals and upward mobile who would really like to remain connected and access a spread of services in voice, information and digital forms," Sony Mobile selling head Prasun Kumar told reporters at a product preview here.Priced between Rs.17,399 and Rs.25,449, the 3 good devices - Xperia U, Xperia P and Xperia Sola - are designed for youth, executives on the move and high-profile users for a spread of services and applications through web, net and tv channels.
"The Xperia smartphones are designed around user experiences of listen, watch, play and build and share to boost their personal, skilled and social life. The Sola good phone boasts of 'floating touch' for accessing net services by holding any finger on the screen to open the links," Sony mobile managing director P. Balaji said in a very statement.
The company's smartphones, that operate on Android platform, are shipped to India from its producing units in Japan, China and Mexico.To promote the devices, the Indian subsidiary has affianced with Tata Teleservices Ltd to produce with free information services up to 3GB on Tata Docomo platform and regarding thirty games.
